Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) and Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) are affiliated professional architectural, engineering, and planning firms. Our full-service team routinely provides planning, design, and construction phase services for a wide range of projects from the Carolinas to New York State. Project types include: office buildings, commercial and retail centers, industrial parks, institutional facilities, residential communities, recreational facilities, mining and land reclamation, and golf courses. We also provide infrastructure design and improvement projects to local, state, and federal government agencies.
This year marks MRA's 30th year in business. Services provided by MRA include land planning, architectural, site/civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering, landscape architecture, and surveying. MRA has more than 160 professional and support personnel working from offices in Abingdon, Towson, and Laurel, Maryland; York, Pennsylvania; and New Castle and Georgetown, Delaware.
GTA has been in business for more than 20 years providing environmental consultation, geotechnical engineering, subsurface exploration, geo-sciences, and construction observation and testing services. GTA presently employs over 135 engineers, scientists, and technicians in Abingdon, Laurel, Frederick, and Waldorf, Maryland; New Castle and Georgetown, Delaware; Quakertown and York, Pennsylvania; Somerset, New Jersey; Sterling, Virginia; and Charlotte, North Carolina (GTA Associates, Inc.).
