Richard Morris Scholarship

This scholarship is named after Richard Morris, who founded Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) in 1979 and co-founded Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) in 1985.

Each year since 1996, MRA has awarded a scholarship to a Harford County, Maryland high school student planning to continue their education in the field of engineering or architecture. A $1,000 scholarship will be given to the recipient each year, as long as he or she maintains a 3.0+ grade point average and continues in the selected major.

To be considered for this award, Harford County high school seniors can contact their guidance counselor or call MRA’s Human Resources Department at 410-515-9000 for more information.

Jacob is a National Honor Society member and graduated in the top 10% of his graduating class. Jacob will begin his college career at the University of Delaware’s College of Engineering in the fall pursuing his Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering.
