  • The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health North Wing Renovation, Baltimore, MD
  • Conversion of 7,000-SF of an existing warehouse into Under Armour’s Innovation Center
  • Project included installation of a steel mezzanine, completely new façade consisting of CMU and glass, entrance canopy, and the installation of large skylights to add natural light to this space
  • This project was designed to be LEED certified
  • Received NAIOP’s 2012 Award of Excellence for “Best Industrial Rehab Interior”

Under Armour Inc. Innovation Lab, Baltimore, MD

  • Retrofit of two reinforced masonry and concrete buildings, originally constructed and used as barracks for military troops, to accommodate ARL’s new Business Office and laboratory uses
  • Each building includes three stories at 8,000-SF per floor
  • Design was provided to remove existing interior non-load bearing construction in order to accommodate proposed renovation
  • Design provides for new front entrance and plaza as well as minor façade improvements

Renovations to Building 4501 & 4502 for Army Research Laboratory, Design-Build, APG, MD

  • 2,500 SF lab expansion within an existing occupied building and called for a structural system that could be constructed cost effectively without drastically affecting the operation of the occupied building
  • Analyzed existing framing for its ability to handle new mechanical and floor loadings, and by provided design for two floor levels of new infill constructed of structural steel framing and concrete on metal deck
  • Constructed while the remainder of the existing building was occupied
