WIRELESS COMMUNICATION
MRA and GTA combine efforts to provide a wide range of services to the wireless communications industry from initial site identification through construction. MRA's engineers and architects offer site, utility, and structural engineering, and architectural services. Through seamless coordination with GTA, the firms also provide subsurface exploration, geotechnical engineering, environmental assessments, NEPA and SHPO evaluations, wetland delineation, environmental permitting, construction observation, and material testing.

Our engineers are experienced in the analysis and design of the three major types of towers used by the wireless industry: monopoles, self-supporting lattice towers, and guyed truss towers, as well as their supportive foundations. We also provide architectural services for accessory structures and landscaping. When a collocate is proposed, our design staff can determine the impact a client's proposed antenna configuration may have on a particular structure. If the structure is over-stressed, reinforcing schemes are typically provided in order to evaluate the feasibility of bringing the tower up to the required capacity. Our engineers also specialize in analyzing existing building sites for wireless rooftop installations. MRA utilizes the ERITower and Risa-3D analysis programs in conjunction with our own in-house software to evaluate the various tower structures.

Once the site is ready to build, we provide construction stakeout, construction observation, and material testing services. Specific services provided to the wireless communication industry include:
