JAMIE GUERRERO, PE, PROMOTED TO PRINCIPAL
Jamie Guerrero, a civil engineer with 21 years of experience in the land development industry, has been named a Principal of MRA. Jamie joined the firm as an Associate in 2015 to manage and grow MRA’s new Raleigh, NC office. Jamie specializes in planning, design, and management of site engineering for residential and commercial developments in North Carolina. His approach emphasizes strict adherence to the client’s schedule, while focusing on the engineering budget, and coordinating site design approvals and permits with the appropriate jurisdictions and government agencies.
He received his Bachelor of Science degrees from North Carolina State University, and he is a licensed North Carolina Professional Engineer, and Certified Professional in Stormwater Quality. Jamie is a member of Home Builders Association of Durham, Orange & Chatham Counties, and he is on the Governmental Affairs Committee for Wake County Home Builders Association. He is also a member of Johnston County Building Industry Association, Urban Land Institute - Triangle Chapter, National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE), and EnviroCert International.
Jamie is currently overseeing multiple projects in Johnston, Mecklenburg, Wake, Durham, Cabarrus, Harnett, and Lee Counties in North Carolina.
Jamie has previous experience working for the North Carolina Department of Transportation as the Division Environmental Officer and for local government as a Stormwater and Development Engineer. With this work experience Jamie has expertise navigating development projects with complex environmental permitting requirements.
