Courtney Galiber, a landscape architect and 19-year veteran at MRA’s Laurel, Maryland office, has been promoted to Associate. Courtney is responsible for managing master planning, feasibility analysis, site layout and design, site grading, and landscape design for commercial, institutional, and large residential projects.

Her project involvement includes project management, gathering and analyzing existing conditions, interpreting and applying client programs through conceptual development, site grading and design, landscape design, forest conservation, and interaction with various government agencies and project related consultants (State and County environmental agencies, architects, etc.). She works closely with engineers coordinating layout, grading, stormwater management, utility and site engineering, landscaping design efforts, and quality control for project designs.

Courtney is a registered Maryland landscape architect and earned her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from University of Maryland. She is a member of American Society of Landscape Architects and Past President of the Maryland Chapter. She is on the Odenton Action Coalition committee with Central Maryland Chamber of Commerce, and is a member of Prince George’s County, Maryland’s Chapter of MBIA.

She has extensive experience working within Anne Arundel County, Howard County, and Prince George’s County, Maryland. She has also performed analysis and design work in Baltimore City, and Baltimore, Carroll, Charles, Frederick, and Montgomery County, Maryland. A few current projects that Courtney is managing include the award-winning Watershed mixed-use community, Nevamar/Academy Yard mixed use development, Liberty Valley residential community, National Business Park North Parcel 2 and Parcel 9 office developments, and Key’s Pointe Phase 2 mixed-income residential development.
