Morris & Ritchie Associates of NC, PC (MRA) is pleased to welcome Zachry L. Nichols, Jr., P.E., as an Associate in our Wilmington, North Carolina location. Zachry brings more than 17 years of civil engineering experience to our team and will support our work with clients across the Southeast region.

Zachry is a licensed Professional Engineer in North Carolina. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. His professional involvement includes service as a member/advisor for the Cape Fear Home Builders Association, service as a Board Member of the Cape Fear Chapter of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and the City of Wilmington, NC, as well as membership in Business Alliance for a Sound Economy (BASE).

Before joining MRA, Zachry founded and managed a civil engineering firm specializing in land development consulting, site design, and entitlement strategy for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. His experience includes all phases of project execution from early feasibility and zoning analysis to full civil design, permitting, and construction coordination.

At MRA, Zachry works with our Wilmington team contributing his experience in residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. His background in both public and private sector projects adds valuable insight for complex land development, infrastructure, and construction programs across the Southeast area.
